Fine print
- CLOSED TO NEW APPLICANTS: the citi.com page says 'Citi is no longer accepting applications for the Citi Custom Cash Card product as of May 28, 2026.' Existing cardmembers keep the card and its benefits. Citi points new cash-back applicants to the Double Cash. Keep this record for existing holders and product-change paths only.
- Gas bought at warehouse clubs, discount stores or convenience stores is excluded. Live Entertainment excludes movie theaters, museums and tourist attractions. Streaming is limited to Citi's named provider list.
- Rewards are ThankYou Points worth 1 cent each as statement credit, direct deposit or check. On its own the card transfers to most partners at reduced ratios (about 1,000:700). Pooled with a Strata Premier or Strata Elite it transfers at full ratios.
- Category definitions come from Citi's Custom Cash Directory of Services (CRE344, dated 05/25). Citi's earlier legal terms page (citi.com/usc/LPACA/.../CustomCash/legal) now returns 404.
